Charlie Edwards writes, lectures and consults on national security, resilience, defence and intelligence.
He works with international institutions, government departments, companies, and NGOs and is a regular commentator in the national and international media. Charlie recently edited UK Confidential, a collection of essays on privacy.
His most recent report is National Security for the Twenty-first century. Other publications include: National Security for the Twenty-first century (Demos 2007); The case for a national security strategy (Demos 2007); The Business of Resilience: Corporate Security for the 21st century (Demos 2006), Closing the Gap: Creating a shared vision of security sector reform (Demos 2006), and A Force for Change: Policing 2020 (Demos 2006).
Charlie has recently presented his work to the Australian Command and Staff College; ASPI, ANZOG and SSA seminar series, International Intelligence Directors Course, Chicksands; and Chatham House.
Charlie is currently a guest editor for the Global Dashboard blog.
