Molly Webb works for The Climate Group, engaging ICT companies in climate change solutions. She worked at Demos from January 2005 until August 2007. She focused on web development and research on science, technology, environment and innovation.

Molly worked with Headshift to create and launch the Demos website in 2006. She is interested in social software, open source, and online tools for participation in policy. (For more on this, download her  talk from the Personal Democracy conference (May 2007) or click on the blog posts tab above.) She co-authored with Paul Miller Flesh, Steel and Wikipedia: How government can make the most of online collaborative tools in the Collaborative State Collection (2007).

She led the Korea research for the 2-year Atlas of Ideas: China, India, South Korea and the new geography of science project, looking at innovation systems, emerging trends in science and technology and models of scientific collaboration. Her last project The Disrupters focused on low-carbon innovation.

Molly moved to London in September 2003 for an MSc course in Environmental Policy, Planning and Regulation at the London School of Economics, where her dissertation focused on the environmental and societal implications of nanotechnology.

Prior to the course, Molly worked on e-commerce and content websites in Japan and the US, most recently as Director of Interactive Production at Oxygen Media in New York. She majored in Japanese at Georgetown University, graduating with a BSc in Languages and Linguistics.
